Throughout the show you can see how advertising and marketing develops and evolves as well as learning a few marketing tricks as you go. not only is this show full of techniques and information that you can use in your own marketing, but it also carries a complex storyline and character development unparalleled in any other series.


Minimalism: A Documentary About The Important Things

Minimalism is a very informative documentary about living with less. It shares the story of multiple different minimalists all around the world and how their life has been improved by getting rid of a lot of the things that they had previously. While this documentary isn't related to marketing specifically it can teach marketers the importance of quality over quantity. Through watching this Netflix documentary, I personally have begun to question whether specific elements of my marketing are necessary to drive engagement or conversions.


Jiro Dreams of Sushi

Jiro Dreams of Sushi follows the story of a sushi chef Jiro Ono, who runs a world-renowned $300 a plate restaurant. This documentary gives fantastic insight into why his restaurant is so successful as well as an understanding as to how marketing can make all the difference between a successful business and a failed one. One key element that this documentary really highlights is The Unforgettable customer experience he creates with his restaurant, which is something that marketers and entrepreneurs can aim to replicate in their own businesses and brands.


Broken

Broken is a Netflix series made of four deeply informative episodes each of which focuses on different processes behind the demand of 4 of the biggest products in America: make-up vape pens furniture and plastic. I strongly recommend this documentary for any business owner and marketing like as it will teach you to be smarter and more practical with the way that you market your brand or business. This series aims to teach its audience that deceptive and unethical marketing business practices will never win in the long run.
