Extra Info

First ascents (up to grade E6 in the UK and others in India).

Alpine routes up to 800m.

I once slept right next to a Leopard's Den.

Why did you start your business?

It's an outlet for creativity, combining my two favourite things of climbing and making physical products.

Who is your mentor?

I don’t have one. I Like to absorb as much information from a wide variety of people, allowing me to learn from different perspectives and apply knowledge relevant to me.

What is the most important event in your working life?

During the lockdown, I started creating products myself with a silkscreen and tie-dye equipment, which gives me more control and creative input into designs.

Does money motivate you?

Beyond having enough to pay the bills, no, for me, it’s all about creativity and freedom of time.

Favourite TV series?

Right now I'm rewatching older comedies - at the moment peep show.

Which person do you admire the most and why?

Joss Naylor (@jossnaylor), he's humble yet he’s achieved insane things.

He's a fell runner and lake district farmer. Known for completing 60 peaks at 60, ran up 72 lake district mountains in 24 hours, a world record holder and the Joss Naylor challenge, which ends at his house and the reward? A cup of tea made by the man himself.

What does leadership mean to you?

Organised chaos. Everybody is a bit mad, it's a leader's job to direct that into something creative.

How do you relax?

A nice easy climb out in the fresh air, either with friends or on my own, on the moors.

What advice would you give to your younger self (5 years ago)?

Embrace the weird.
